Learning Disability / Mental Ill Health
The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) defines a person as disabled if they have a physical or mental impairment, which has a substantial and long term adverse effect on that person’s ability to carry out normal day to day activities.
A person’s impairment may be due to a learning disability or due to their Mental Ill Health.
