Physical / Sensory Disability
The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) defines a person as disabled if they have a physical or mental impairment, which has a substantial and long term adverse effect on that person’s ability to carry out normal day to day activities.
Physical or sensory disabilities include those affected by impairments to their sight or hearing.
