Sexual Orientation
Sexual Orientation describes someone’s sexual attractions towards;
- Persons of the same sex
- Persons of the opposite sex, or
- Persons of either sex
A person could be a victim of a sexual orientation hate incident if they are singled out or targeted as a result of their sexual preference or presumed sexual preference. This may be through association with others or through attendance at recognised venues.
